From Vision to Checkmarks

Three goals is a feature, not a limitation

The page holds exactly three goal blocks, and that constraint is deliberate. A year with ten goals has none — attention splits until everything stalls. Three goals, each broken into three concrete action steps with checkboxes, is the format that survives contact with a busy life. Write the vision sentence first: it is the filter. If a candidate goal does not serve the vision, it does not get one of the three blocks. Milestones at the bottom give each quarter a single sentence to aim for — no essays, just direction.

Review little and often

The optional second page comes in two depths. “Simple” gives you four boxes — wins and next steps per quarter — perfect for a 15-minute review over coffee. “Detailed” adds challenges and adjustments, the format to choose when a quarter went sideways and you need to understand why. Print the review page four times at the start of the year, file them behind the goals page, and the reviews are already waiting when March, June, September and December arrive.

Print flat, punch once

As with every tool here: “Actual size / 100%” in the print dialog, never “Fit to page”, or the punch marks drift off your rings. Ring sizes (A5, Personal, Personal Wide, A6, Pocket) print two groups of three marks 3.2 mm from the left edge; Happy Planner sizes get disc marks. A goals page lives in your binder for twelve months, so it is worth the good paper — 100–120 gsm handles a year of page-turning without dog-earing. 只写三个目标，是特性不是限制

这页只放三个目标块，这个约束是刻意为之。一年写十个目标等于没有目标——注意力被摊薄，事事搁置。三个目标、各拆成三条带勾选框的具体行动步骤，才是扛得住忙碌生活的格式。先写愿景句：它是过滤器。某个候选目标若不能服务于愿景，就不配占用三个格子之一。底部的季度里程碑每格只写一句话——不写长文，只定方向。

勤回顾，小回顾

可选的第二页有两种深度。「简单」是四个格子——每季度写收获与下一步——适合一杯咖啡十五分钟的季度复盘。「详细」增加挑战与调整项，适合某个季度跑偏、需要弄清原因的时候。年初就把回顾页打印四份，夹在目标页后面——当三月、六月、九月、十二月到来时，复盘的纸已经在等你。

平放打印，一次打孔

与本站所有工具一样：打印对话框选「实际尺寸 / 100%」，绝不用「适应页面」，否则孔位会偏离活页环。活页尺寸（A5、Personal、Personal Wide、A6、Pocket）在距左边缘 3.2mm 处印两组三孔标记；Happy Planner 尺寸则是圆盘孔位。目标页要在本子里待满十二个月，值得用好纸——100–120gsm 才经得起一年的翻页而不卷角。先用打印助手的测试页，一张纸确认缩放与孔位。
